... What do you want to know about it? It's a rental, so don't expect much in the department of rowing gears or hearing a roar of a V8.

does it Orlove easily?

It hasn't flipped over... yet.
Is eager, but not too eager to slide. Same eagerness as a new 328i.

Are you driving it appropriately? Eg; Like you stole it?

How is the 6-speed auto?

v6 or turbo'd 4?

actually pretty great. Smart on fuel when in standard Drive, and genuinely downshifts/holds onto gears in Sport to help slow the car coming to lights. Rarely does sport put the trans into a disconnected coast. Gear selection is pretty quick and responsive. The car does an automatic power blip to revmatch when downshifting nicely. I don't remember reading whether or not this trans is new compared to last years, but it feels a lot better.

V6. Some customer stole the turbo 4 from me before I could grab it. Drove the turbo 4 just for a minute and lol'd at the piped in engine-effects.

Does the interior feel as good as it looks?
![]() 11/28/2014 at 06:35 |

Yes. The interior is much better sorted than the outgoing model. Much less hotwheels—a lot more euro-NuFord feels. The steering wheel is fat and small and feels a little squishy and I love it. The seats are comfortable and very bolstering. Materials are better (hate the faux carbon fiber though). I do sit a bit further back than I'd like to while driving comfortably... but I might have to play with that a little more.

v6. ewwwww! just burn it.

I like it. I can't really complain. Felt better than the Q50, even though that revved higher.

Is it comfortable?

Can you actually feel the IRS that most people just HAD to have in it?
![]() 11/28/2014 at 08:06 |
|
It's noticeable. Ford had the fixed axle down pretty well. But it feels like it has a quality suspension now. The spring response and the way it handles bumps is a lot nicer and more composed than the '14 stang, '14/15 camaro/challenger (base models).
It's very very good feeling for a base model muscle car.

Taking into consideration the fact that I thought the '14 was decently comfortable, these new base/stock seats blow the '14 GT's away.

does it hoon/dift/burnout?
is the interior good?
is it (relatively) fast?

If you can, please measure the track width on the seat rails on the floor. I'd like to see if the seats from a '15 will fit in an S197 (05-14).

Troll? With 300+hp I'll take it over the turbo. With the maual of course.

Tell us how it compares to your regular ride.

Walked into work today and had a premium i4 turbo sitting in front of the building, so ill be switching to that for the remainder of my employee rental. Off the bat:whooshing noises are fierce and interior looks ultra nice in comparison to base V6.
